Civil Engineering is one of the major disciplines in the Engineering profession and its principles are involved in the design, development, construction and maintenance of structures. The Department of Civil Engineering has been established in the year 2011 and The Department Diploma Engineering has been 2012. The departments have well established laboratories supplementing the academic needs of the students with well qualified faculty members in different areas of specialization .The academic activities of the Department emphasize deep understanding of fundamental principles & development of creative ability to handle the challenges of Civil Engineering. In addition to academic activities, the Department involves in offering consultancy services to the industry and society.

The department of Mechanical Engineering was established in 2011 and The Department Diploma Engineering has been 2012. The department offers Undergraduate Programme in Mechanical Engineering. It is equipped with state-of- the-art workshops, laboratories and computing facilities. The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty members. The faculty members actively engage in research and publish papers in International and National Journals. Guest lectures and industrial visits are periodically arranged for the students to enhance their curriculum. Employability Enhancement training and project works are given to students through Vertical Machining Centre. JMSIET TVS Core Engineering Research Laboratory offers Modeling and Analysis software courses like CATIA V5, Delmia V5 and 3D VIA. Our department has signed MoU’s with reputed companies to provide Industrial interactions to the students and Internships in renowned industries are provided through Internshala. The department strives for all round excellence of students by encouraging them to take part in all extra-curricular activities.

The department of Computer Engineering was started in 2011 with the primary objective of providing world class education in the field of information technology, addressed towards the problems of today and tomorrow. The department endeavors to produce confident professionals tuned to the real time working environment.
